Meet Your Presenter! Brandon is a Physical Educator from New York who started his career teaching in Brooklyn and now teaches near his hometown in upstate NY.  His classes are full-on and equal parts skill development, basic training for life and musical theater.  Brandon loves to dance, is a Zumba Instructor and is the current NYSAHPERD Dance Section President.  Brandon is an OPEN National Trainer and past leader for People to People Student Ambassadors. He has coauthored the OPEN K-2, 3-5 and Middle School Dance Modules. About This Session: Whether you have been kicked out of your gym and have to teach PE in a classroom, teach in a super small space or want to turnkey some awesome K-12 activities to your classroom colleagues, to get more meaningful movement in throughout the day, this session is for you.  Join me in a full-on, energy-filled, it’s-only-8:30-and-I’m-already-winning-the-day session that will start with an appetizer of SEL (social and emotional learning) team builders, continue with a second course of brain boosting fitness and nutrition based activities, specifically designed for the classroom, and finish with a sweet pairing of dance and a share-out of resources that will enhance your teaching and curriculum.  Wake up happy, bring a smile to share and join me in this badda-bing badda-boom sensational session!Objectives:
1)      Participants will leave feeling energized & confident to lead Physical Education activities in a classroom in a meaningful and impactful way.  
2)    Participants will be able to share at least three school-based activities to promote MVPA outside of physical education.
3)      Participants will be able to access and recall a minimum of two resources to access physical activity ideas that can be shared with colleagues upon returning to school.
