"Why Doesn’t Anybody Care About Health and PhysEd?"  Changing Culture One Student, Colleague, and Parent at a Time. Adam Mullis has a passion for teaching Physical Education and Health.  Adam is currently in his fourth year of teaching and coaching at Crayton Middle School and is the President of the South Carolina Association for Physical Education and Sport. He has presented at local, regional, and national conferences and is well-known as an advocate of the wonderful content, skills, and life lessons learned in Health, Physical Education and Sport.
Details: Changing the culture of your school towards health and physical education can be difficult! Come and learn from an educator who has had success creating a culture-change towards active lifestyle among his students and fellow colleagues. The session will include strategies to increase buy-in from the community for Health and Physical Education. This session targets giving educators’ innovative ideas to help increase physical and health literate individuals.
